On June 7, 2009, Gary and Marilyn Hargrave dedicated the new building at Hale O Kāula, on Maui. Dani and Debbie Oliveira and the Hargraves had invited others who had pastored at Hale O Kāula—such as Dean and Ginny Perry and Frank and Nelda Androus—to celebrate this fulfillment of many years of prayer, planning, and hard work.
Gary spoke that the completion of construction was a sign that one time period was ending and a new day was beginning. God is bringing the people of Hale O Kāula back to what John Stevens initiated in the early 1980s with events such as the Seabury conference and the Unfolding. However, the sign of God’s love and faithfulness is that he took the intervening years to include the younger generation in this day of fulfillment.
