Apostolic Visit with Silas and Selma Esteves from Brazil

This week we have the honor to welcome our dear pastors and spiritual parents, Silas and Selma Esteves from Brazil. Relationships are very important to us, and Silas and Selma have been deeply involved in our lives for over twenty –five years.

We had the opportunity to listen to Silas share with us the wonderful things God is doing in bringing the body of Christ together in Brazil and the deepening friendship happening with several from the Charismatic movement within the Catholic Church and within the Jewish Community in the Rio de Janeiro area. We believe for that to grow and spread out everywhere.

Silas also shared the importance of the month of Elul in the Jewish calendar and our preparation for the High Holidays and the days of Awe, which are very significant to us, as Christians. Silas emphasized how we are careful to honor and respect our older brothers, the Jews, and how through Christ we celebrate the Biblical Feasts because we have been grafted into the root of who Christ was and the promises of God to Abraham and his offspring.

We are so happy to be with Silas and Selma during this time and we keep praying and strengthening them. They are always in our hearts.
