Debbie and I are in Iowa for the Shiloh School of Prophets, and we are overseeing the Young Adult School of Prophets program (YASP). The program is focused on ages 12-16, but we have training for those who will be “dorm leaders” who range in age from 16-22. We spent some time with this leadership group talking about being sons

Last October we had an awesome celebration in our family, Eddie Schiek and Aimee Christiansen took another step in their relationship and commitment to each other and to our Heavenly Father. It was such a special time for all of their relatives and friends and also to the whole Hale O Kāula Church family.
When we talk about being a family it is important to notice that we are talking about a spiritual family, although a lot of the principles of a natural family also apply.

This was the third year that Hale O Kāula was invited, along with several other churches, to be part of an event that unites many churches over the state of Hawaii in prayer and worship. We had an awesome weekend at Hale O Kāula with many guests who were in town for David and Leah’s wedding. It was a great time of connection with many, and a beautiful atmosphere of joy and celebration. The family spirit was evident in the involvement of everyone celebrating a new phase in the relationship of our new wedded couple.
